Explore the mountains of Macedonia througout all seasons

Why have I never heard about these mountains before?

Do people actually live up here?

How is it possible that a place this wild still exists?

Macedonia is a secret written in stone, wind, and wide horizons. Here, mountains rise without noise or crowds, shaped by old paths, shepherd stories, and light that changes your sense of time. One day, you walk through alpine ridges where only eagles keep you company; the next, you descend into deep valleys scented with pine and wild herbs.

Highlights of the Journey

  • National Parks

Our starting point, below the stars, will be in the heart of the National Parks. Trees stand tall, rivers flow cold, and the animals move freely. Our mountaineering experience is in well-protected areas where the wild still holds space for us.

  • Camping

Some of the climbs require an overnight. As Rebuffat Gaston has said, “A special connection between us, people, and the mountain is built when we spend the night in the mountains”. Be ready to experience proper mountain climbing and embrace the challenge.

  • Mountaineering

This experience includes real mountaineering, not just walking in the mountains. Depending on the route and season, it may involve steep terrain, exposed sections, snow or ice, and the use of basic mountaineering techniques. The focus is on safe movement, good decision-making, and adapting to mountain conditions.

  • Local experience

The local experience is woven into every step of the journey. You share simple, unforgettable meals made from mountain-grown ingredients, meet people who welcome you like an old friend, and pass stone villages and wooden houses that carry centuries of stories. Around a table or a fire, legends, laughter, and everyday wisdom turn the mountains into something lived, not just seen.
